Kathmandu, March 9: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has appealed to all to assist in holding the May 14 local level election successfully.
Receiving the annual report of the National Information Commission on Thursday, PM Dahal said all citizens must cooperate with the government in making the election successful. "People have demanded development amid political instability and bickering, so the government has focused economic development with the implementation of the constitution.
According to him, election has been imperative to institutionalize the achievements made so far, so it time to focus on it equally.
The more the people are informed, the more the democracy is strengthened, he added.
On the occasion, Chief Information Commissioner Krishna Hari Baskota informed the PM about the activities of the Commission.
Information Commissioner Yeshodha Timilsina and Kiran Kumar Pokhrel requested PM Dahal to present the Commission's report in the parliament for the discussion. RSS
